Make sure your project format is SD PAL. There is a drop down menu in XDCAM window for DV or IMX including 30.

XDCAM MXF OP1a should qualify for your needs.

XDCAM format supports IMX 30 media stream.
OP1a is a specific MXF structure, which is probably the most commonly used in production and post-prod.

How do I now get an mxf file (not a Quicktime) out of MC that meets the above IMX30 spec? The only MXF output option I see is XDCAM MXF OP1a which isn't the same thing, is it?
