If you experience speed problems, you need to install: "SxS_Device_v1_05_and_UDF_v2_00_Drivers_Mac" (search the Sony website). Unusable without.

Ok I take back my comment about the speed. The other cards were much faster. Only the one was very slow; it must have been due to the particular file type.Sent from my iPhone

There is a 29 day trial that will get me thru this project. I do see however that speed is not its strong point, even with the SxS reader on thunderbolt. But if it works it's just more billable time ;)Sent from my iPhone

They charge for v.2, but you can still get v. 1.x for free. It will copy the complete drive structure to be properly read at a later time

I'm working on a project that is shooting on SxS cards; XDCam MXF codecs and MP4 codecs, 1080i 50. What is the best practice for copying the cards so the client can take a drive back to France and edit from the copied files on the drive.Avid 6.5.4 iMac i5 OSX10.8.5Thank you in advance.Gregg FosterEditorTechnical SupervisorRemote Production732-735-4343Sent from my iPhone
