Back then decklinks were pretty much hand made, he'd dip them pcb in the acid to wash off where the tracks werent going to be, stick the components into the holes, then put it in the oven to kind off finish it all off. Might have been melting something cant remember - he did tell me.
What I do recall though is him pulling the boards out, cutting them into quarters and putting them in boxes...
