Exactly my point. The only ones left will be either working at or for a large facility. Even if you have the skills how do you get work as a freelancer far away from said facility?


Avid's strengths have become their liabilities. Media Composer feels like a solidly last century product. If you want the experience to feel vintage at least make it steam punk.

Benny - Problem in my region is there are no more Avid suites...at least Avid suites I could four-wall for a client.  So why be an Avid freelancer in a region where there are no suites to freelance at?  THAT is going to be a very tough sell - to get people to g back to Avid.  I really don't care for Premiere, but have had to learn it just to stay viable as a freelancer.
