Mr. David,
I was hoping the shift to 64 bit was to restore the split to reference back in the color corrector. ;-) Alas so far I have not seen that happen. ;-( It would be great if those 64 bits could find their way into the color corrector. I'm spending way too much time reviewing Resolve/AVID workflows so anything you could do to eliminate that as a need for me would be greatly appreciated. ;-) A few power windows etc.... and you'd totally own my world, but I'm sure you already know that.

It's pretty obvious that Avid is going to focus even more on the big players. If they get a few small guys and small shops along the way, well that's an added benefit. But my feeling is that Avid has given up on the smaller shops. Big iron = potential (and needed) profit. Louie's a finance guy, not an editor. Makes perfect sense for where the company is at right now. And Terry, you predicted this several years ago.
