Re: [Avid-L2] keyframe effects

Adding a somewhat related kvetch that I've kvetched about before (to implore them):
Please allow Auto Keyframing to be turned off.
From a past post:
Whenever you make a change in the Effect Editor Window through what Avid calls "Direct Manipulation" (DM) a keyframe is automatically created. If all I want to do is resize and repo (let's say), _without animation_, it's frustrating because if I leave the keyframe (as opposed to to deleting it, which is annoying) and then come back later and adjust (with DM) I can easily/accidentally create animation when I don't want it. I'd prefer to be able to toggle AutoKeyframing on when it's helpful and off when it's not. This is the logic of the more recent versions of After Effects as well.

I'm sure Avid hears you, Lou. You're saying that you want your

But I should not have to export video into a third party app to do this!!. When did the Avid fx keyframe become so clunky and unfriendly? I know its always been an issue but I feel its worse than ever.
