Along these scary lines the tapes made from the low level bar sequence came back from QC and they noted a few dead pixels but didn't mention anything about the bars being low. In fact the QC report said "75% Full Field Bars" which they are not full field they are smpte bars with the strip for blue only color balance on a monitor. So the master QC person found dead pixels but only noted the start and duration of the bars. Makes me wonder why I gave up drinking. Oh wait that was just another Bar problem too. I got way out of spec in the 90's. ;-)
