You know I wasn't trying to be funny but I get your point. Given this has been consistently happening from when I came back to work in December but with no determinable cause until now. It made me first think the deck was bad. Then I've been suspecting the Nitris Bob with external sync the one thing that is triggering the glitch. Internal sync no glitch. Now that I've been told they upgraded or installed a electrical sub panel when they added the 2nd Unity I've got my sights on that link in the chain. Of course now that I've got a scope on the sync signal it's behaving today. The other thing I found is the sync feed to the Nitris is not terminated which may make the Nitris genlock circuitry more susceptible to the intermittent hum on the sync signal but I forgot my terminator today. I guess it's a good thing I don't drink coffee. ;-)
