Good point, but I'm sure Avid has announced/shown a new version at nab and given a ship date "by the end of Q2 or Q3 (which takes them through IBC)."
Is AJA private? Because they showed their coming camera. And, JVC showed their coming camcorders.
About the CC -- I'm happily still on 6.5 (with 10.7.5) and if you compare it to FCPX -- even with some CC plug-ins -- it's so much better. And, while Premiere has a decent one, I've got to confess that I don't feel right unless I've got a full set of "transport" controls visible for clicking on. Likewise, a custom Toolbar. For those of us who only edit a few times a month -- and are really old -- they are critical.
Not having RT editing, at 1/4 rez of 4K, and no 4K export means when I review 4K cameras I can't use MC at all. And, guess what magazines want reviews of?
