This stuff is Apple Pro Res coming from Blackmagic Camera and cc in Resolve. He output Pro Res 422 149mbts/s. I think surely its the USB drive choking on this.

I tried upping the RAM to 16GB, and it improved slightly, but that's still not doing it. I'm working off of a USB 3 drive. Next is higher RAM, and possibly a thunderbolt dock….
