If it does, then you've screwed up the Search Database in your project that crashed. You can find it and delete it and Avid will rebuild it.

Otherwise, this recently happened to me too, and I had to deactivate PhraseFind and then reactivate it.

Using it, then its gone. It got wonky looking at AMA clips which I never use so I crashed, rebooted app and got rid of the AMA folders. Now PhraseFind can't find a language and so won't work. What happens now? Phrase find is something you use when you really really need it.
