Someone poured a pint of beer into my daughter's MacBook Pro recently. Would not boot. Removed drive, connected drive to my iMac and managed to recover nearly all the data using Alsoft Disk Warrior (took hours but worth the $99 or so it cost me).

Subject: [Avid-L2] Data Recovery
Anyone have any recommendations for a Data Recovery service?
Hard drive crashed on my laptop - and of course that's when I discovered that my backups have not been running properly. Can't initialize the drive to even to a sector by sector scan, but it appears to be spinning up.
