Yeah, it involves going in to terminal and screwing around with a bunch of stuff that nobody should ever have to deal with.
Dragging the Uninstaller to the desktop doesn't work.
I've gotten that argument. . . Plus, no, you can't use the uninstaller that came with it, you have to use the NEW ONE!!
Avid should be embarrassed. I actually heard someone excuse it by saying "Well at least they are a company that ALL they do is editorial and broadcasting equipment" Yeah, so you'd think they could get it right if they only have one thing that they should be doing well.
I have yet to see a decent solution to this problem which is something like trying to remove Borg parts from a human body.
