Huh. Interesting. The last thing in console a couple of times WAS
mdworker. Coincidence? Maybe the console DID tell me something.
There's nothing important on the raid, it's just a work drive, and it's
made up of old 500gig drives from the junk drawer... so, I'll try making
a new one from other spares, and see what happens.

Cheaper than the $150 PSU off ebay. Especially if the PSU isn't the
problem!

Good news is Avid's still happily spinning along playing from the
terrablock - so at least it's operational.
