on a Mac, you can find the installed plugins here:

/Library/Application Support/Avid/AVX2_Plug-ins

you can find installed codecs here:

/Library/QuickTime

Alternately, if you click on the Info tab in Media Composer, you can get a good list of what AMA plugs are installed.

Is there a way to get a list of installed codecs and plugins for my Media Composer 7.0.2 system? I can look in the effects and see what's installed there, but I'm looking for something in the console or a directory I can look in.
