I'm having quite a few crashes when rendering several different Avid FX effects (Sharpen & Unsharpen Mask used individually). I've replicated the crashes on both an MC 7.0.3 system with Avid FX 6.4 as well as on an MC 6.5.4 system with Avid FX 6.2. MC 6.5.4 is loaded on a Windows 7 OS Z800 with 12MB of RAM. MC 7.0.3 is loaded on a Windows 7 OS Z820 with 64 MB of RAM.
On both systems it is impossible to render a segment of any significant length. I've parsed out the overall clip into 5 minute segments and this has reduced the number of crashes, but not eliminated them.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any thoughts or suggestions?
