I'm working on an animated series which is off-lined on MC6, and I'm on MC 7 Symphony. I get an AAF from the offline editor, and the full res files. When I batch import, and point Avid to the matching file I get the following error: File..\src\Filesys\CoreWinDirLocator.c,Line 335 Fatal Error_msg.AssertionFailed File.
If I continue, I must individually point to every file. Avid is not automatically changing the file path for the rest of the selected files- unless I rename all the master clips to match exactly, e.g. removing any "new.01" and add ".mov" (a typical source file name would be: SKB_e105_s226_tk02.mov).
An example of the original offline file path is F:\Skinner Boys\Tk2's\SKB_e105_s226_tk02.mov. On other series, I only need to point to the first file, and the rest link and batch import. Any ideas? I can't find any online information about this error. This is the first series of done since updating to MC7, in case that has anything to do with it.
Thanks, Scott
