[Avid-L2] Decklink Extreme problem

I've had Decklink Extreme 4K running with both Resolve and MC7.  They were always running separately.  I made the mistake of launching MC7 while Resolve was open.  I got an error message that there was a conflict with the card.  Since that point, I was not getting any output from the card either in Resolve or MC.  BM Media Express would give me an error : Blackmagic hardware could not be found on your system.  I reinstalled the BM drivers, restarted the computer (windows 7) and got the same results.  What eventually happened was that if I restarted the computer and launched Media Express first thing, it would open up.  Then I could open Resolve and the card worked fine.  Close Resolve, open Avid, no output.  Close Avid, open Media Express, same error: BM hardware could not be found on your system.  Restart computer, run BM Express, fine.  Run Avid, same issue.  The problem only starts when I open Avid.  Maybe an Avid reinstall?
