Hey don't give away my secret. When I'm at certain places I just rename all the sub folders so I have all the power. This has saved me several times in strangely misconfigured and mismanaged media environments. I know the thought of media mis management is unheard of on this list, right? ;-)

I'm pretty sure I can delete any media in a project even if that media was captured at another unity seat/station on a different computer. What happens to the database in the folder I don't own where I just delete a piece of media?

Further, mc will always write to folder 1, (or computername.1) unless that is 'full.' (Can't remember the limit). On a local drive the folder shouldn't use letters- and every drive will get 'scanned.'
