[Avid-L2] Re: Can't select Black Magic with Avid Symphony 6.0.4 and Decklink Extreme?

I found this at blackmagic support:

Supported Applications for Macintosh

Current drivers include specific support for the following applications:

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
Adobe After Effects CS6
Adobe Photoshop CS6
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5
Adobe After Effects CS5.5
Adobe Photoshop CS5.5
Apple Final Cut Pro X
Apple Final Cut Pro 7
Apple Motion 4
Apple Soundtrack Pro 3
Apple Color 1.5
Apple DVD Studio Pro 4
Avid Media Composer 6.5
Avid Media Symphony 6.5
Avid News Cutter 6.5
Avid Pro Tools 8
Avid Pro Tools 9
Avid Pro Tools 10
The Foundry Nuke

But then in the desktop 9.3.3 read me there is mention of uninstalling and no mention of media composer 6.5:

Third Party Software Support

• Adobe Premiere Pro CC
• Adobe After Effects CC
• Adobe Photoshop CC
• Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
• Adobe After Effects CS6
• Adobe Photoshop CS6

• Apple Final Cut Pro X
• Apple Final Cut Pro 7
• Apple Motion 4

• Autodesk Smoke 2013

• Avid Media Composer 7
• Avid News Cutter 11
• Avid Symphony 6.5
• Avid Pro Tools 8
• Avid Pro Tools 9
• Avid Pro Tools 10

• The Foundry Nuke

If you have installed the drivers prior to installing any of these applications, we recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the drivers. This will ensure that all relevant components are installed in their required locations.
