I have not personally tested this, but with Premiere Pro CC, you can take make those MXF files "offline" and then relink to other media. You may have to adjust the "Link & Locate" parameters, but file name and timecode should work. Reel and TC maybe also, but Avid probably puts the reel number in a funky place for Premiere. The Locate dialogue was added with the CC (7.0) version.

Yes, linking to the Avid MXF media works, but why would I want that? That's my offline media. I want it to link back to the camera master files, in this case ProRes4444 files. I could not figure out how to make PP CS6 do that.
