The three filters you see in AvidFX, Benjamin, are just "categories" of effects, essentially.If you want to apply a filter to an entire clip, use the Avid FX filter effect. If you want to add to a transition, use the Avid FX Transition effect and if you're going to add it to a Title or Matte Key (graphic) then use that option.Once you do that, you can go into the Effect Mode and start applying effects from the library of effects in the upper left quadrant of the Avid FX UI, or you can add Filters from the menu that comes up when you go into the Avid FX UI.Once you're in the UI, learn how to use it by googling some BORIS RED tutorials.
