OK . . . I guess I figured it out.

It appears holding OPT _and_ CMD give me 

the behaviors I was expecting to get if just holding the OPT key.

Hmmm . . . 

I could have sworn it was *just* the OPT key . . . 

or did it get changed?

Yes, I've already dumped MCState and made new user settings.

How I believe things are supposed to work:

1- Link Selection Toggle = OFF
2- Enable either Segment Mode Arrow
3- Click on a segment
4- Hold Option/Alt and all common Segments are supposed to be selected (e.g V1, A1 and A2)

-OR-

1- Link Selection Toggle = ON
2- Enable either Segment Mode Arrow
3- Click on a segment
4- Hold Option/Alt and ONLY the Segment clicked-on is supposed to be selected (rather than all common segments)

Mine does not work as above in either situation; additionally, when I hold OPT the Segment Mode arrow turns back into a standard black cursor arrow.
