I think the problem is we have to deal with various websites to get a handful of common AMA plugins. It is inconsistent. I don't understand why you can't make it part of the installation or at least similar to how you package Nvidia drivers.
If there is no compatible plugin at release then leave it empty. If a compatible version exists package it.
