Re: [Avid-L2] How long should ALC take to activate??

Okay, The problem was solved with a new dongle blast.

I would like to take just a second here to note how hard it was to actually find a human to try to solve the problem.  The only way i got to speak to a real person was by (and I'm not kidding here) randomly pushing buttons on the phone tree in hopes that a human would answer that could perhaps put me in touch with someone in tech support.  I don't recommend this method.

Once I got through, we figured out the problem pretty quickly, but It is really unclear from the website how to deal with these "right off the bat" problems.

Job is spot on...... but don't force quit as if you have WiFi on and it takes a bit - force quitting might mess up the activate/deactivate process.  Marianna

I have this on my MBP. Turning off WiFi speeds the whole thing up. WiFi can be activated afterwards.
