Well, moving fonts does cause a shift in the font for the project, but not for the bins.
PITA.
Before restarting I trashed all settings, including MCState in the User folder, too.
At least the fonts placed in the second location I mentioned are still seen by Photoshop (in the past I'd had some issues with that, so was always putting them in that first location). I guess I'll make the second place the location for the future. I don't recall having this issue in quite the same way in the past. Annoying.
Cheers,
B

Feature Request:Please make it so that when I add new fonts to *any* of my fonts folders, it doesn't then cause the font selected for the Project Window, Bins, etc. to shift/change. I would hope there was a way to make MC look for the font name, rather than its position in the font list. Now, as I write this, it occurs to me that it may be possible to load my additional fonts in another location. I'm currently loading my fonts into Internal HD > Library > Fonts. I guess I'll experiment with loading them into System > Library > Fonts and see if Adobe and Avid still see the newly added fonts in that location and if that solves the shifting font issue.I'll let you all know what I figure out . . .B
