Why does he need to slow it down? 2 seconds of audio at 23.98 is still two seconds. Two seconds of audio at 25 fps is still 2 seconds.
We deal with this a lot with Sync-N-Link because so much audio is recorded with a nominal 29.97 fps even if the video is shot at 23.98. Since audio has no frames, we just assign the appropriate frame rate for synchronizing purposes.
