Re: [Avid-L2] audio won't mixdown

Yes.  Tried to several drives.  No use.  The issue I am having in the DVDs is the music does a dip when nat sot comes on.  I want the volume of music consistent.  I checked my audio export and its pretty constant so I think its happening in Squeeze.  What are the optimal audio format and settings for DVD in Squeeze?

thanks

I assume you've checked the obvious stuff like enough space on the
target drive... If you can't get the mixdown to work, you can export
the whole thing as a stereo aiff or wave file, then import the file back
into MC. As long as you stay at the same sample rate and bit depth, it
shouldn't affect the quality. Extra step but if it gets the result you
need... --J.B.

After 8 minutes (the entire sequence is 10 minutes) I stopped it. I started to do just the bottom 4 music and fx. Mixdown fine. Then the next four fx tracks. Mixdown fine. Now tracks 1 and 2 which is really just natural sot clips but lots of spaces as well as lots of slo mo does not have audio. These are the two that won't mix down. The mix down window goes into action and the clock runs but the bar never moves. What am I overlooking here?
