Also, make sure that the names you posted are really the names. ... possibly there's a DOT where there shouldn't be one or an illegal character.
AMA is actually NOT a good idea for audio, I thought. I remember a specific AMA warning on audio files...
Could be a naming issue. Try moving each file into its own folder. Or if you don't mind renaming them, then just simplify the names.
Maybe it's doing some weird grouping thing. Did you really check the files that came in? Maybe they actually have ALL of the tracks for all of the files in that one imported file?

Do you have "Autodetect Broadcast Wave Monophonic Groups" selected in your Import Setting? If so, maybe you should try un-checking that.On Mon, Oct 28, 2013 at 3:17 PM, Zach Scott <zachscott776@yahoo.com> wrote:
I AMA linked and transcoded the files which works perfectly! Is it normal that Avid names all of the files the exact same name for audio? On Oct 28, 2013, at 5:09 PM, Shawn Broes <shawn.broes@gmail.com> wrote:Maybe odd frame rates?Did you try AMAing them?On Mon, Oct 28, 2013 at 3:06 PM, Zach Scott <zachscott776@yahoo.com> wrote:
Hello all,
I am trying to import a bunch of audio files but Avid will only import certain files in the folder.I have a folder of files that are labeled as indicated below:Charades_Take2_BOOM.WAVCharades_Take2_LAV1.WAVCharades_Take2_LAV2.WAVCharades_Take2_LAV3.WAVCharades_Take2_LAV4.WAVCharades_Take2_LAV5.WAVWhen I select all of these files to import, avid only takes the first 2 of the 5.If I select only LAV5, avid imports LAV1... Why is this??all ideas are appreciated!!
