Or, the Steve Hullfish stand-by advice, "Have you switched to a default user setting to see if the behavior goes away?"


Or the standard IT guy stand-by advice, "restart?"

I just had my Symphony 6.5 where it wouldn't let me do an overwrite edit from the UI - from the keyboard worked fine - and I tried a new user setting with no luck, but restarting got me my ability to mouse-click an Overwrite. (Don't ask why I cared...)

You're not in those whacky program segment modes are you? What if you collapse the color correction with a the right click choice. That should turn all corrections into source segment unlinked mode. Maybe the first thing to try would be to trash the .avs file in the project I've had two or three things that were just weird get fixed that way.
