Re: [Avid-L2] Re: Title tool colors

Man, the one thing you could always rely on in Avid was that they understood what video levels actually were and why they were important.

Okay this issue just gave me the high hard one. 100% White title are hitting like RGB levels at approx 745 milli volts. At first I thought it was edge transients but on closer look it's more than that. I'd recreated a titles track and I found one of the titles that wasn't splattered over 700 milli volts and I recreated it and still good but when I went in and reset the foreground color to 100% white in the mac color tool of grey scale values I set to 100 it then splattered over 700 like the others. I think some of the titles might have been done in 5.5.3ish but others in V6.5. I recreated them and this happened. This just cost me 4 Fing hours of reoutputting two two hour masters. Thanks Avid fix the Mother Fing problem yesterday. WTF?

Values are way out making it useless for matching text colour to a packshot or somesuch. This may lead to what you see. Try a test with some known values like colour bars and see what you get.
