Re: [Avid-L2] Re: This is *not* a parody...

So I own a LeapMotion but currently the store is full of just demo Apps and
a couple games... At last check Corel Painter and AutoDesk Maya were the
only 2 creative apps with interface plugins utilizing the Leap, so I am
looking forward to at least giving this a shot. I would assume it would be
no different than using gestures like some of the iPad Controllers use. And
definitely something to force a workout in your arms a'la Wii or Kinect.

Yeah the video is a joke but that line is also in nearly every NLE revision
documentation and demo video as well. Everyone believes they have the be
all end all to speed, and really its up to the end user much like which NLE
you might be faster in, which control interface works best. How many of you
are using something other than just a mouse in your day to day?
