Yep, the Effect Editor is visible when I go to the Workspace.
I'm still trying to figure out the deal on this.
It's annoying.

I've rebuilt my settings (actually just using default new user settings while testing)…
but I just thought to rebuild the "logged-in user" settings freshhhh as well.

So… after doing that too, here's the behavior as it stands right now:

- Flip between Src/Rec Workspace and Effect Workspace = All good.

- Flip between CC Workspace and Effect Workspace = Does not select any segment, and I can not manually select a segment.
I have to then press the button I mapped for the Effect Editor (from Tools menu) to wake it up.
The Workspace layout does not change, and a video segment then becomes selected, as expected.

OK, at least I have a workaround . . . I will now attempt to get some actual work accomplished.
