In my home I sit 12' from a 65" TV. With 20-20 vision, I won't be able
to perceive the distance. People who come to my house always comment on
how large my TV is. That leads me to the unscientific conclusion that
folks aren't going to have TVs large enough to perceive the difference
in 4K.
But since you brought it up, I thought I should see what the folks are
watching. Seems the average TV purchased in 2012 was 36.8".

Using the linked calculator, the will have to move to 5' from their TVs
just to get a 16% difference. Not much of a selling point in my opinion.
