Greg,
Avid has suggested for years that it is either an unsupported QT or a
corrupted QT.
The only workarounds I see to remember suggested were:
- Work in Best Performance or Draft Quality
- Operate software-only. This error only occurs when Nitris DX hardware
is present.
- Import and re-export QuickTime movies on a PC, then import them to the
Mac system
- Add a single empty audio track to the timeline in MC
I know these don't make much sense in your situation....
