I know it's not a US show, but one of my all time
favorite shows (and a multi-award-winner)
was cut on Avid: The original "The Office."
Here they are, hard at work, in the edit room:

Does anyone know what "Sherlock" is edited on?
For anyone not familiar, "Sherlock" is an excellent Hartswood Films, BBC
and WGBH co-production
that stars Benedict Cumberbatch (recently seen as Khan in the latest
Star Trek),
and Martin Freeman (recently seen as Bilbo in The Hobbit; and he also
stars in "The Office" as Tim).
The much awaited season 3 is now in production.

problem, but ones who are newer think that the more cuts the better.
Kind of like the guitar players who think the more notes they cram in
the better. It's not the notes you play, it's the ones you don't!
