Hi All,
Please forgive me I have never actually had to deal with XDCAM in production before. I have a client who is interested in shooting xdcam vs a card based media such as P2, C300, SXS, etc... His theory is it's easier and cheaper than with Xdcam. What is the real workflow from Prod to post? Is it, shoot to Disk take disk out and ingest into Avid AMA via deck? Do people clone the disks in the field? if so what hardware are they using to do this with?
