I just got a little clarification on the issue. Apparently the activation serial number will not stick with P2 Log Pro in OS 10.7 or 10.8 so you have to enter it each time you launch the program. This explains what I've experienced on my system. I find it strange that the activation element of the software can't be updated but I'm not in the programming world. If once launched it works as it appears to on my system I don't see why that is enough to discontinue the product. Very strange to me.

Better keep an old startup disk if you plan on using it. I guess I haven't tried it since I update to 10.8.3. I would have sworn I used it on my current project and I thought I was always on 10.8.3. I'll check when I get home. Has anybody run into this gotcha?
