Yo, The first thing. If there is ever a question about what "Tape Name" a masterclip is using and an AAF. The Avid rule is to actually look at the "Source" icon in "Set Bin Display..." this will clear that issue up for you. The "Source" icon is the exact name for what gets used. This works for the "Tape" column and for the "SourceFile" column too.
Second. I am just trying to be clear; Are you creating an AAF to link to new sources and not .mxf files? Because, that is my favorite type of AAF. What frame rate?
