You can convert Thunderbolt to multiple whatever.
Playing with a new iMac that lacks display port, I'm using the T-bolt to send MC to an AJA IO XT, which sends HD out for monitoring.
At the same time, PlaybackPro is looping HD video, going out to a second display via the same T-bolt, looped thru the IO XT and adapted to HDMI.
Not something I intended to do, but discovered it all works pretty well.
