Thunderbolt 2.0 is supposedly delayed until late 2013/ early 2014 according
to Intel.
I would not say not pro, it just means cost is passed down to user as it is
up to you to source Thunderbolt peripherals. Even if hardware manufacturer
starts producing Thunderbolt PCI-in-a-box devices, cost will be passed down
to user. This makes sense if Apple sees PCIe slots are utilized by a small
percentage of Mac users.
Since the PCI debacle started the Avid to PC thing, which in turned caused
the FCP on Mac thing, I wonder what unintended consequence this arise from
this?
