Re: [Avid-L2] New Mac Pro

Thunderbolt is pcie. By logic, If pcie is on life support then thunderbolt
is also on life support. If thunderbolt is the future (it's not), then it
just means that our desktops will be made of many boxes instead of one
single box... Using the same exact connections for expansion...

It kind of makes sense for apple to do this if their mission statement is
to make everything simpler for the user. You need fast raid? Plug it in.
Done. Go. Work. You need super gpu power? Buy a box. Plug it in. Go. Work.
Etc. etc. Don't have to learn anything, just plug it in the back.
