(Trying to have Avid's back a bit here, after taking a run at Spanned Markers)
It's possible that your system does not meet the requirements for MC7. The miniimum RAM is up to 8gigs I think... Could be a bunch of stuff. Not knowing what system you're running it on. For example MC7 will run on my underpowered MacBookPro, but I figure that any problems like that are associated with my underpowered system, not any fault of Avid's.
