Thanks for the feedback all.
Currently happily printing blurays on Taiyo Yuden (JVC) Watershield Bluray discs with a canon pima MG8220 from B&H for $120. Insane price for this printer. I think they must be selling at a loss in hopes of making it back on ink.
Thanks for the feedback folks, especially the suggestion of using the watershield media, it looks great.
