We're having issues transcoding Red Epic files to Avid DNX 220 in mc 6.5.2 so the AE is trying to take the Avid sequence into Red Cine - X and see about consolidating, or whatever term they use, the R3D files to send to the new Resolve system. I'm told he tried an ALE but it didn't work. I haven't played much in this world but I thought you would send an AAF from Avid to Red Cine-X. What is the best method to get a sequence into Red Cine X from Avid and then link to the R3D files and consolidate the media that is used in the sequence?
