I use a Wacom Intuos4 model PTK840. No issues except that Win7 sometimes
loses the tablet, but this may be due to the fact that I have it on a Cat6
USB extender; I power cycle the extender to solve that. And sometimes the
mapping will become mirrored (upper left becomes lower right) but this is
easily resolved by stopping and restarting the Tablet Wacom service.
I and other users have experienced some issues with Windows' "Tablet PC
Input Service," which gives visual feedback which looks like pond ripples
upon tapping the stylus to the tablet. This is designed for tablet PCs and
not Wacom tablets. Disabling this service solves this problem for the most
part, though the effect does come up for me when using Expression Encoder,
a Microsoft product; it goes away when I close Expression Encoder.
