I'd suggest:

Have you looked into 'LogMeIn'? It's like what Timbuktu used to be, only much easier to use. It's a website or dedicated software (your choice) that's installed on both client and server. Available for both Mac and PC and each is cross-platform so you can control and/or see the other computer remotely. It's actually intended for tech support where a technician looks at and controls another computer remotely. What you need is the reverse: You want your producer to watch your computer screen (and not control it). There are options for that capability as well with LogMeIn (View Only) called 'Share Your Desktop'. If you have more than one computer display, he or she can choose which of your desktop screens to view. The only limitation is that the free version cannot transmit audio.

The free version is the one I use. But I don't think it's adequate for your needs. You need audio transmission:

It's done as a yearly subscription; $70 per year for 1 computer (You might need a 2-computer subscription, I don't know).
BTW, I'm using LogMeInFree to write this message right now. I'm actually working at a different computer from the one I'm writing with.
