I've been doing this for about 20 years. It's great. Everything in focus
as you move your head. It took me about half a day to get used to it.
Highly recommend. You're optometrist can give you to 2 sample lens
to try it out.

I went for mono vision- one contact lens for distance (dominant eye) and the other uncorrected for close up. Doesn't work for everyone but is good for me.
The eyes sort out which looks at what automagically and I can now feel them doing the same when I don't wear a lens. Left eye typing this on iPhone, right eye takes over if I look out of the window.
Bonus is its half the cost...
