Not sure if a patent is such a swell idea.
It can get VERY expensive if you target the entire world, it will be copied
in a couple of counries anyways, or you might have to fight companies in
court who have a way bigger budget than you do, so you can't win no matter
how solid your case is.
My option would be to take the money and run. Meaning, get as much out of it
as you can before you get copied.
Normally if you go to someone to work together, make it so that it's better
/ cheaper for them to work with you than without.
IOW, if your idea is good, it WILL get stolen.

Hi John,
I would recommend a patent attorney. You can probably get the first
consultation for free. I have a process patent in fluid dynamics,

I'm curious if anyone on the list has been involved in patenting an idea for
a product. No it's not the Tennis ball washer I built for my do. I don't
have any experience in this area. Anybody got experience and or suggestions
for where to go with a great device that should put me on easy street. ;-)
Yeah and I plan to win the lotto too.
