[Avid-L2] Re: MC7 looks great!

That's the first time I've heard Artist Color response complaints on platforms other than Avid Symphony/MC. Mostly I've heard people using the Artist Color with FCP Color, Resolve and the baselight plugin without issues of sensitivity. Key mapping and menu structure is another matter that I'm not versed in as I've not been able to really explore it in the Symphony world because I can't get any work done with it. My trusty kensington expert mouse trackball works okay for my needs. I assume it's slightly larger size helps if feel okay for hue offsets. I've never been spoiled by a full tilt color correction panel so I only really have academic knowledge of what I'm missing. For sure I miss all the knobs and faders etc... on my big GVG switchers and audio boards in the linear bays. I'm sure it's the same difference with a full tilt CC panel. Oh I can only dream. One of the BMD Resolve demo guys said the full tilt Resolve panel is approx. 50% faster for him than the smaller tangent panels etc...
